Shanghai Expo 2010 will include a new concept - the Urban Best Practices Area (UBPA) - that will underscore the Expo theme of 'Better City, Better Life'.
LED Facade - The sleek surface of the façade is animated with interactive video graphics that are sensitive to the patterns of visitor flow.
Multitouch Display - Four interactive portals were installed at the façade for visitor access. Through these portals, visitors were connected to the other visitors at portals installed at the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Passenger Terminal Building of the Hong Kong International Airport in Hong Kong, as well as in the Hong Kong Pavilion at Pudong for real-time video chat. The portals demonstrated Hong Kong's excellent connectivity.
